It's amazing how many people voted purely emotionally on this without considering the "real" issue of denying rights to one group of people. I couldn't find one "yes" person who could explain their position to me without getting into their distate for the gay life. When pointed out that that wasn't the issue on the ballot, they were all a little taken aback. It's sad so little thought was given.
There will be a next time.
